Headers Not Working

Recommended Posts

Guest rugsta

Hi,

Currently just testing out WAPT 7.0 and so far so good. The application seems to do everything we need but in order to advise those with the purse strings I need to do some testing using headers.

We have a website where users must login to use parts of the system. In order to spoof this within our company network we tend to use Firefox with the addon "modify headers" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/967/) set up as below.

Using WAPT 7.0 I add default http headers (iv_user / extjohn_chan) but the pages that require authentication all fail due to "authentication error". Does anyone have an idea why this does not work?

Regards

Hi Sergei,

Thanks for taking a look at this. I'll need to write a quick script and send it through. Currently I'm the only one here on the test side so a bit busy. Should have something to you in a couple of days.

regards
