Question about editing the page property

Hi all, a page that requires username and password has been recorded and I have logged in during the recording process, then after stopping recording I try to edit the page property. I find this page to be "POST" type and therefore I edit the parameter for username and password. If I change these two into another correct username and password, will the testing process be correctly test the page and successfully log in the page? Thank you.
