Can I run 1 user and watch the pages as they update

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I am Using WAPT to load test PeopleSoft (have used it previously) and noticed that I can't get it to submit processes. Not sure why but its not giving any error so I am wondering if I can slow it down and get it to display the pages as the are loaded etc so I can try to see whats happening.

Is there a way to do this at all ?

Thanks

Phill

Hi Phill,

You can enable full logging in WAPT, or you can use Verify command and then see what is shown in WAPT logs.

Hi Angela - Thanks for the reply.

I do have full logging enabled but for some reason the tabbed views - Header, body and browser view tab - are blank and just have a N/A on them.

any ideas why that might be

However we are finding that a number of buttons that we click on when recording - dont work when we run wapt and we are trying to work out why....

so am try to determine more information on whats happening. PeopleSoft pages are pretty complex though .. so wading though the HTTP protocol summary isnt that helpful to me

So for example one URL is below....

<p> <a href="https://gld.pc.internal.macquarie.com:9401/psc/gl8tupg01/EMPLOYEE/ERP/s/WEBLIB_PT_NAV.ISCRIPT1.FieldFormula.IScript_PT_NAV_INFRAME?c=ejS0qwOeQJA2JV4uEDdtKA%3D%3D&FolderPath=PORTAL_ROOT_OBJECT.PT_PEOPLETOOLS.PT_PROCESS_SCHEDULER.PT_PRC

Hi Angela

Thanks for that. I am using the full logging but it doesn't help unfortunately.

For some reason in PeopleSoft, the tabbed views show no data in PS - only the comment N/A (the Header, Body and Browser view tables in the full log I mean)

The Protocol Summary is long and convoluted and isnt helping me much in determining in whats going wrong.

(Essentially WAPT doesnt seen to deal with when we click on button on PeopleSoft Pages but Im not sure why that would be)

Any suggestions why the browser view wouldnt work ? Any other ideas of degbugging tips

I've taken the script down to the simplest case I can and a single user but cant see where its failing

Ta

Phill
