Truncation of parameter

Recommended Posts

Guest Doug

I have a parameter that appears to be truncated by WAPT;

The data that is sent to the server by WAPT, is;

state30718umd=<umd type="IXMLObject" factory="com.saba.ejb.UpdateMetadataXMLFactory"

However, it should be;

state30718umd=<umd+type="IXMLObject"+factory="com.saba.ejb.UpdateMetadataXMLFactory">\r\n<pk+type="String">
mspln000000000042910
</pk>\r\n<loc+type="ISimpleReference"><id>local000000000000001</id>\r\n<displayName></displayName>\r\n</loc>\r\n<ts+type="String">
1336177428
</ts>\r\n</umd>\r\n

I'm thinking about making this static text but I need to insert two variables as can be seen above in red.

Does anyone know if I can insert variables into a static string, or am I approaching this the wrong way?

Hi Doug,

Could you please send to us your scenario and profiles? Do you need to use the symbols in red as a variable? Also, please describe the results you wish to achive in more details.

I sent what you requested yesterday.

Thanks for having a look.
