WAPT Pro & Load Agents on Cloud

Recommended Posts

Guest Dave Sykes

Hi All,

I'm considering setting up an Amazon EC2 instance to be a load agent, on our current tests that we are running from our head office to our hosting centre we are maxing out our office Internet line, which means we can't test enough users. I was thinking about moving the load agent on to an instance of Amazon EC2 as being a very cost effective way of increasing our user load without having to increase our bandiwidth at the office.

So has anyone else done this, or can they foresee any problems?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Sergei,

Excellent, thanks for that. I'll contact Sales to see your pricing. I'll have to say I managed to get a test working with an EC2 instance, and as it wasn't WAPT that was the bottle neck for the number of users we need, I think that we'll probably carry on there. If we need more load agents that sounds a good option.

Regards

Dave
