Results
After the test run is completed, you can view results in the form of text
reports and graphs to know how tests were performed. Results of WAPT
test run are represented in the Results folder of Navigation Pane.
Summary Report: Contains a number
of text reports that display consolidated information on test run
execution. Click on Summary Report folder in Navigation Pane
to view these reports.
Summary Graphs: A number
of graphs that display consolidated information on all requests of
all user profiles. Click on Summary Graphs folder in Navigation
Pane to display the chart.
Graphs for user profiles and test sequences:
WAPT creates
graphs for all user profiles and test sequences of each profile (Initial, Main and Final).
Click on desired profile/test sequence in Results folder of Navigation Pane
and you will see the corresponding chart.
Any graph for user profile displays consolidated information on all requests of this profile.
Any graph for test sequence displays consolidated information on all requests of this sequence.

Graphs for Individual
Pages: WAPT creates graphs for all
page requests of current test scenario. Click on desired page request
in Results folder of Navigation Pane and you will see the corresponding
chart. Any graph for individual page displays test results measured
for this page.
On test completion, you will see browser window with generated HTML
Report. It is a convenient way to view test run results just from
web browser.
You can view intermediate results at run-time while your test is being executed.
For this, click on desired subfolder of Results folder in Navigation
Pane while the test is running.
Saving Test Results
WAPT provides you with several ways to store
the results of test run: HTML
files
Generated HTML Report is automatically saved to HTMLReports
subfolder of the folder where WAPT is installed
(C:\Program Files\SoftLogica\WAPT\HTMLReports). Besides, you can save
HTML Report manually to any desired location. For this, click
the Save Results button
on the program toolbar and select HTML Files (*.html;*.htm) as
file type.
CSV
files
You can adjust WAPT to save test results
in CSV format and import them later, any time you wish to Microsoft
Excel. For this, check the Save results to: option
in Log and Report
Settings. If you enable this option, then for each user profile,
a file with test results will be created. In Log and Report Settings,
you can change the default location for test result files. Besides,
you can save test results as CSV file manually to any desired
location. For this, click the Save Results button
on the program toolbar and select CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)
as file type.
WAPT
results file
You can save generated text reports and the data for graphs as a file
with .wpr extension. It is WAPT extension
for test result files. Click the Save Results button
on the program toolbar and select WAPT 4.0 Results Files (*.wpr)
as file type. This file will also include current test scenario and
profiles used during test run. After saving, you will be able to open
this file in WAPT and view the results in
the form of Summary Report, Summary Graphs and graphs
for all user profiles, test sequences and individual pages. To open
WAPT results file, click Open -> Results...
button on the program toolbar:
In the displayed dialog, select desired results file and click Open.
In addition, you can save any report of the Summary Report as
HTML file in required location. For this, select desired report in Summary
Report folder of Navigation Pane, right-click on the displayed report
and select Save Current Report to HTML... option on the context
menu. In the displayed dialog, enter file name, select a location and
click Save.
You can save Summary Graphs as an image in png format
in required location. You can also save any chart with graphs for user
profiles, test sequences or individual pages as png image. For
this, select desired graph in Navigation Pane, right-click on the displayed
chart and click Save Current Chart to Image... option on the
context menu. In the displayed dialog, enter file name, select a location
and click Save.
