Using IE7, I am able to log into my application without error. When I attempt to record within WAPT 5.0, I receive an Internet Explorer Script Error after selecting the login button. Specifically it says ['window.external' is null or not an object].

Hi,
The matter is that WAPT Recorder does not support some script objects supported by IE. In particular, WAPT 5.0 does not support windows.external. This is an auxiliary object responsible for interaction with "external" processes (such as adding a page to History, setting a Default page etc.). So this error does not influence recording of http traffic between WAPT and server, so you can just ignore it.

If I select either Yes or No within the script error pop-up message, I'm unable to proceed with the login. Basically, I'm stuck. Is it possible to add the functionality for WAPT to support this script object?
